    U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Miranda Bosse, a munitions systems specialist assigned to the Florida Air National Guard's 125th Maintenance Squadron, builds an inert MK-82 training bomb during a sortie generation exercise at Jacksonville Air National Guard Base, Florida, Dec. 3, 2025. As one of the newest U.S. Air Force wings to maintain the F-35A Lightning II aircraft, the most capable fighter jet in the world, the unit executed a sortie generation exercise aimed to prepare a specified number of aircraft in the shortest possible time, sustaining wartime sortie rates for a period of days and showcasing the unit's ability to fight and win by generating combat air power when called upon.
