1st Armored Division soldiers assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB) prepare to load concertina wire (c-wire) near Calexico, Calif., Dec. 2, 2025. This c-wire will be transported via a CH-47 Chinook helicopter to mountainous and rugged terrain for installation on the southern border barrier, part of JTF-SB's general engineering support to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
