BERKELEY, Calif. - Lt. Cmdr. Wyatt Middleton, officer-in-charge of Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Program Management Office, Flight Systems, conducts a presentation at the University of California (UC), Berkeley, on the role of engineering duty officers (EDO) to Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps units from Stanford University, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, and California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo Maritime Academy, on Oct. 23, 2025.
Middleton, an EDO who completed his qualification from August 2018 to July 2020, discussed SSP’s robust EDO community and the relationships between chief petty officers and commissioned officers within the command that play an important role in the development and sustainment of the nation’s strategic weapons systems.
