Capt. Michael Fontaine, Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo (CFAS), gives a tour of the CFAS Akasaki Fuel Depot to Lt. Gen. Masaki Maejima, the newly-appointed commanding general of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) Fukuoka 4th Division, and Japan Ground Self-Defense Force personnel in Sasebo, Japan, Oct. 22, 2025. Following an introductory office call at CFAS headquarters, Fontaine and Maejima toured CFAS facilities and observed bilateral exercises between JGSDF members and the CFAS security department.
