Pfc. Julius Purnell, an electronic warfare specialist assigned to the 4th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, attempts to head lock his opponent during the Turkey Brawl at Fort Carson, Colorado, on Nov. 25, 2025. The open-weight tournament brought together 28 Soldiers from units across the 4th Infantry Division and Fort Carson for a day of high-intensity bouts that showcased lethality, exemplified the Warrior Ethos, and strengthened esprit de corps, culminating in the top three competitors earning turkeys just in time for Thanksgiving.
