U.S. Marines with Headquarters and Support Battalion, Marine Corps Installations West, reenact the flag raising on Iwo Jima during the HQSPT Bn. 250th Marine Corps Birthday Ball at the Hilton Inn, Anaheim, California, Nov. 14, 2025. The ceremony consisted of a uniform pageant, remarks from guest speakers, the marching of the colors, a traditional cake-cutting ceremony, and the reading of the traditional birthday message. The Marine Corps birthday ceremony honors the history, legacy, and traditions passed down from generation to generation since the Corps' founding on Nov. 10, 1775.
