The platforms for the tents of the upgraded Role 3 hospital are constructed, within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, Dec. 19, 2024. The upgrade was considered necessary according to Operation Inherent Resolve as the population at risk had shifted within the area of operations, calling for more direct access to care in the new location.
