U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Christopher Adams, sergeant major of III Marine Expeditionary Force, delivers a speech during a 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit formation, Nov. 7, 2025. This visit gave the commanding general and sergeant major an opportunity to discuss 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit operations and recognize the hard work and dedication of the Marines and Sailors on patrol. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force, ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premiere crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
