U.S. Navy Lt. Leon Smith, center, command chaplain for Combat Logistics Battalion 4, Combat Logistics Regiment 3, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, pray for Marines and Sailors during a company opening ceremony for three new companies for CLB-4 on Camp Schwab, Okinawa, Japan, Nov. 13, 2025. During the ceremony, Lt. Col. Nathan Green, commanding officer of CLB-4, oversaw the activation of three new companies under the battalion, a step taken in line with the Marine Corps’ Force Design 2030’s expectations to distribute logistical capabilities into smaller, more expeditionary units.
