Tristian Thomas, 36th Wing commander executive advisor, receives a Stripes for Exceptional Performers promotion from the 36th Wing leadership on Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Nov. 24, 2025. Thomas was selected to be promoted to the rank of Staff Sgt. for his exceptional performance in his duties. The STEP program is reserved for the most exceptional Airmen across the Air Force and allows commanders to immediately promote Airmen who have gone above and beyond to contribute to the mission and their teams.
