Royal Bahamas Defence Force, Deputy Commander, Captain Natasha Miller and Royal Bahamas Defence Force, Aide to Deputy Commander, Chief Petty Officer Carla Cummings, conducts key leader engagements with leaders of the Rhode Island National Guard as they tour facilities of the Rhode Island National Guard, Nov. 20, 2025, Quonset Air Base, R.I. The purpose of the visit to Rhode Island is to recognize four newly commissioned Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) officers at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy located in New London, Connecticut. The combined purpose of recognizing newly commissioned RBDF officers and conducting strategic engagements makes the visit both meaningful and productive. The Rhode Island National Guard remains committed to supporting the development of its state partners and advancing its enduring relationship with the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
