U.S. Coast Guard Boatswain's Mate 1st Class Justin Boes teaches small craft procedures to members of the Bahamian and Saint Lucian Coast Guard during Tradewinds 2013. The students were given refresher classes on man overboard drills, as well as transiting passengers while underway. Tradewinds 2013 is a joint, combined exercise conducted in conjunction with partner nations to enhance the collective abilities of defense forces and constabularies to counter transnational organized crime and to conduct humanitarian/disaster relief operations.
