U.S. Air Force Col. David Gunter, commander of the 366th Fighter Wing, addresses the Idaho Legislature’s Committee on Federalism at the Idaho State Capitol, Nov. 14, 2025. Gunter’s briefing relayed ongoing planning updates for the Qatar Emiri Air Force training partnership at Mountain Home Air Force Base, a coordinated effort underway since 2018, to bring Qatari aircraft and personnel for long-term F-15QA fighter training.
