A Republic of Korea National Assembly delegation visited the Joint Security Area in
the Korean Demilitarized Zone Nov. 19, for an educational orientation.
Members of the Climate, Energy and Labor Committee were briefed by United
Nations Command staff on UNC’s sustained peacebuilding efforts and its enduring
commitment to peace on the Korean Peninsula.
The delegation saw the Military Demarcation Line which separates the two Koreas, and the blue huts of “Conference Row” a long standing place of dialogue.
