On Nov. 6, 2025, the 665th Movement Control Team (MCT), 25th Transportation Battalion, conducted HMMWV Egress Assistance Trainer (HEAT) Training at Camp Carroll.
The training aimed to enhance the readiness and survivability of Soldiers and KATUSAs in the event of vehicle rollovers through realistic, hands-on simulation.
The HEAT system replicates rollover scenarios to expose participants to the physical and psychological challenges of escaping an overturned HMMWV.
Under controlled conditions, troops practiced proper egress techniques through doors and turret openings, reinforced the importance of seatbelt use and safety restraints, and built the confidence needed to respond effectively in real-life emergencies.
This vital training ensures that personnel are better prepared to protect themselves and their teammates during high-risk operations. (U.S. Army photo by Ms. Pak, Chong Min, U.S. Army Materiel Support Command- Korea)
