U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Air Force Maj. Gen. AnnMarie Anthony, the Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Center (JEC) director, provides an overview briefing of joint force electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) operations to students of the Army Information Operations Qualification Course (IOQC) by virtual teleconference from USSTRATCOM headquarters at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., Oct. 15, 2025. As the War Department’s expert on EMS operations, the JEC focuses on preparing the joint force to operate and prevail in contested, congested, and constrained EMS environments through focused training, education, and assessment. Through the testing and adoption of advanced technologies including artificial intelligence and machine learning, the U.S. maintains a technological advantage while ensuring humans are the ultimate decision makers.
