Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Energy visits PHNSY & IMF

Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Energy Christopher S. Grisafe discusses infrastructure concerns with Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Public Works Officer Capt. Travis Brinkman during a visit to Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility on Sept. 22, 2025. Grisafe toured PHNSY & IMF to discuss ongoing energy initiatives and explore ways to improve installation resiliency efficiency. PHNSY & IMF’s mission is to keep the Navy’s fleet “Fit to Fight” by repairing, maintaining, and modernizing the Navy's fast-attack submarines and surface ships. Strategically located in the heart of the Pacific, it is the most comprehensive fleet repair and maintenance facility between the U.S. West Coast and the Far East. (U.S. Navy photo by Kenny Jones)
