Jacob Owens, a master instructor assigned to 1st Engineer Battalion, supervises the flight during a Forward Land Forces Expansion exercise at Bemowo Piskie Training Area, Poland, Nov. 17, 2025. Gray and Owens conducted drone-based route reconnaissance ahead of M2A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicles to confirm terrain, mobility, and suitability of the planned movement route.
