U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Miguel Ballate, the command senior enlisted leader of Combat Logistics Battalion 15, Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB), conducts a fireman carry during the Marine Corps combat fitness test (CFT) in Yuma, Ariz., Nov. 1, 2025. CLB 15 conducted their semi-annual CFT while forward deployed and is designed to assess a Marine's physical readiness for combat through a series of functional fitness events. JTF-SB executes full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to protect the territorial integrity of the United States and achieve 100% operational control of the southern border.
