U.S. Marine Corps Col. Erik C. C. Quist, a Virginia native and the commanding officer of the Chemical Biological Incident Response Force, and Sgt. Maj. Anthony Vega, a Texas native and the sergeant major of CBIRF, lead the force in a birthday formation run at Naval Support Facility Indian Head, Maryland, Nov. 6, 2025. CBIRF conducted a 250-mile continuous run over the span of three days in honor of the Marine Corps’ 250th birthday.
