Baltimore District representatives, their U.S. Coast Guard partners, and more than 40 contractor representatives participate in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Baltimore District Industry Day for the U.S. Coast Guard Yard Waterfront Optimization project at Curtis Bay, Maryland, Oct. 22-23, 2025. For over a century, the Coast Guard Yard has served as the service's sole shipbuilding and major repair facility, building, repairing and renovating vessels for the U.S. Coast Guard and serving as an essential part of the Coast Guard's core industrial base and fleet support operations.
