Retired Lt. Col. James Akin received a coin form President Eisenhower in 1960 for his efforts in conducting support airlift missions to Europe. Akin served in the Army Air Corps and Air Force from 1944-1967 as both a pilot and member of the Four Horsemen demonstration team. (Courtesy photo)
