Candy Marquez, a fixed-wing aircraft mechanic with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 232, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, refuels an F/A-18C aircraft during forward arming and refueling point operations at Kunsan Air Base, South Korea, Oct. 21, 2025. VMFA-232 conducted unit level training at Kunsan Air Base to maintain operational capabilities and sharpen lethality to ensure a free and open Indo-Pacific. Marquez is a native of Texas.
