The District of Columbia National Guard Counterdrug Program supports the Drug Enforcement Administration and community-based organizations on Oct. 25, 2025, to support the 29th National Prescription Take Back Day across multiple sites in the district. The DEA initiative urged residents to safely dispose of unused or expired medications in an effort to curb drug misuse and promote community well-being. Through its involvement, the D.C.
