251031-N-IE405-1148 NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (Oct. 31, 2025) Personnel from Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) install a front-and-fixture attachment to the engine power turbine to be transferred into an engineering space of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80) while U.S. Navy Sailors assigned to Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center (FDRMC) and Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) monitor the evolution at Naval Station Rota, Spain, Oct. 31, 2025. Roosevelt is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations to support the warfighting effectiveness, lethality and readiness of U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa, and defend U.S., Allied and partner interests in the region.
