Friends and families gather at the Civic Center in Augusta, ME on September 26, 2025 to acknowledge and show appreciation for the 136th Engineer Vertical Construction Company (EVCC), Maine Army National Guard (MEARNG) during a send-off ceremony. The 136 EVCC is deploying to Saudia Arabi in support of Operation Spartan Shield, helping with construction, electrical work, masonry, plumbing and other mission essential construction tasks.
