Kody Westerhaus, the Alpha company executive officer in 1st Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division speaks into his radio while conducting a live fire exercise, Oct. 29, 2025, on Novo Solo Training Area, Bulgaria. The Soldiers conducted an iteration with blank rounds and then conducted the live fire portion of the range.
