Cameron Holmes, rifle inspector with the United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon, Marine Barracks Washington, completes a successful rifle inspection during the opening ceremony of the 50th Marine Corps Marathon at National Harbor, Maryland, Oct. 25, 2025. The ceremony included a three-mile motivational run, performances by the Silent Drill Platoon and the U.S. Marine Corps Drum & Bugle Corps, and remarks from Lt. Gen.
