U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Noah Moran, a combat engineer with Combat Logistics Battalion 15, Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB), utilizes a 460SJ telescopic boom lift to place concertina wire on the southern border barrier in Yuma, Ariz., Oct. 9, 2025. The addition of concertina wire is part of general engineering support to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to improve existing portions of the protective barrier. JTF-SB executes full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations in support of CBP to protect the territorial integrity of the United States and achieve 100% operational control of the southern border.
