U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Steven Kitchens, a combat engineer assigned to A Company, 1st Engineer Battalion, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, operates a Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UVG) at Joint Multinational Readiness Center's Hohenfels Training Area, Germany, Oct. 21, 2025. JMRC's opposing forces offered a real-world experience for exercise participants as the notional enemy, challenging the tactics and procedures. The Hohenfels Training Area is a key location in Europe, critical to sustaining the ability to respond when needed.
