Major Paul Herzberg, Headquarters Company commander, Headquarters Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, is awarded the Bronze Star Medal aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, May 16, 2013. While deployed, Herzberg was the lead advisor for engineering a new Afghan Army camp in Sangin district, Helmand province; he turned over Forward Operating Base Delaram II to a new Afghan Brigade; and he supported the movement of 1,200 soldiers and all equipment from FOB Delaram to FOB Nolay.
