Musician 1st Class Carl Lundgren, from Alberta, Canada, speaks with seniors and music students at Bucks Central East High School in Warrington, Pennsylvania, following a performance by members of the Navy Band during a Navy and Marine Corps 250th birthday celebration. Philadelphia and surrounding cities hosted a weeklong series of public events in celebration of the milestone birthday bringing visitors and residents a firsthand look at the professionalism and warfighter strength of today’s maritime service members, including public concerts, school visits, static aerial and ground asset displays, ship tours, an air show and ceremonies across the area.
