The U.S. Navy Band and U.S. Naval Academy Band march through the streets of Philadelphia during the Navy and Marine Corps 250 parade. Philadelphia is hosting a weeklong series of public events in celebration of the anniversary, bringing visitors and residents a firsthand look at the professionalism and warfighter strength of today’s maritime service members, including public concerts, school visits, static aerial and ground asset displays, ship tours, an air show and ceremonies across the city.
