CARIBBEAN SEA (Sept. 28, 2025) An MH-60S Seahawk helicopter, assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 26, approaches the flight deck of the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) to resupply the Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser USS Lake Erie (CG 70). U.S. military forces are deployed to the Caribbean in support of the U.S. Southern Command mission, Department of War-directed operations, and the president’s priorities.
