Tomb Guards with the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) carry custom Sig Sauer M17 pistols during their duties at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, Oct. 7, 2025. The pistols feature grips made from wood of the USS Olympia, marble dust from the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and engravings symbolizing peace, victory and valor.
