    U.S. Soldiers, family and community members attend the funeral of Staff Sgt. William L. McMichael at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, Pennsylvania, Oct. 7, 2025. McMichael, who was assigned to the 67th Bombardment Squadron, 44th Bombardment Group (Heavy), 8th Air Force, was accounted for on June 20, 2024, after being missing in action for over 80 years following a World War II bombing mission over Romania in 1943.
