Airmen assigned to the 439th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron and 439th Aeromedical Staging Squadron joined together during a recent unit training assembly for tactical combat care training in a combat situation. The Citizen Airmen had the opportunity to practice shuttling mock patients in stretchers and exercised light weapons handling procedures. The training provides camaraderie, cooperation and familiarity ensuring seamless continuity medical care from point of injury to transport aboard military aircraft. The hands-on application prepares medics and increases training participation and proficiency to support full spectrum operations in any environment. #ReserveReady #westover #airforcemedics
