U.S. Soldiers and Marines assigned to Joint Task Force–Southern Border (JTF-SB), execute a dismounted patrol for National Defense Area (NDA) sign emplacement operations in Yuma, Ariz., Sept. 25, 2025. Soldiers provide security and maintain overwatch positions to ensure the safety of the Marines as they emplace Yuma NDA signs along key perimeter areas. JTF-SB executes full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to protect the territorial integrity of the United States and achieve 100% operational control of the southern border.
