U.S. Army Sgt. Christopher J. Sanchez, a visual information noncommissioned officer assigned to the 173rd Airborne Brigade, U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), is presented with a unit coin of excellence by U.S. Army Lt. Col. Christopher J. Christiana, Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion commander, for his team placing first during the Lions Legacy competition at Caserma Del Din, Vicenza, Italy, Oct. 3, 2025. SETAF-AF personnel conducted the gauntlet as part of the Lions Legacy monthly series, focused on enhancing warfighter readiness through unit cohesion and sustained physical fitness.
