CLOVIS, California (Sept 30, 2025) — Engine 312 Captain, Steve Sabol, from the Sierra National Forest’s Bass Lake Ranger District works remediating hotspots on the Garnet Fire. Currently at 99 percent contained, operations on the Garnet Fire have shifted to suppression repair as crews work to fix dozer lines, repair landlines and open up roadways.
