USTRANSCOM conducts globally integrated mobility operations, leads the broader Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise, and provides enabling capabilities in order to project and sustain the Joint Force in support of national objectives. These objectives include strengthening the longstanding security relationship between the U.S. and Panama, which reflects mutual respect, trust, and commitment to regional cooperation against threats and security challenges, including ongoing efforts against transnational criminal organizations and other malign actors who seek to undermine stability, the rule of law, and democratic institutions in the Western Hemisphere.
