Jordan White, commanding officer of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Higgins (DDG 76), right, on Higgins’ flight deck as Benfold prepares to depart Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan, Sept. 29, following 10 consecutive years of forward-deployed service in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
