Gunner’s Mate Seaman Augustine Martinez, assigned to USS Boxer (LHD 4) and a native of Amarillo, Texas, fires a shot line to the Peruvian Navy Amsterdam-class support ship BAP Tacna (ARL-158) during an underway replenishment, Sept. 13, 2025. Boxer is currently underway conducting routine operations in U.S. 3rd Fleet area of operations. An integral part of U.S. Pacific Fleet, U.S. 3rd Fleet operates naval forces in the Indo-Pacific and provides the realistic, relevant training necessary to execute the U.S. Navy’s role across the full spectrum of military operations.
