U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Nolan Okstad, 148th Fighter Wing Maintenance Squadron, begins the 1.5 mile run portion of the Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA) at the 148th Fighter Wing, Duluth, Minn., Sept. 13, 2025. The Air Force Fitness Program goal is to motivate Airmen to participate in a year-round physical conditioning program that emphasizes total fitness, to include proper aerobic conditioning, strength and flexibility training, and healthy eating.
