U.S. Marines with Intermediate Repair Company, 3rd Maintenance Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 35, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, and soldiers with the Kyushu Logistics Depot, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, carry supplies and simulated casualties as part of a physical training event during exercise Resolute Dragon 25 on Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan, Sept. 23, 2025. The event served to develop camaraderie and cohesion between U.S. and JGSDF personnel during one of the largest bilateral training evolutions between the two countries. Resolute Dragon is an annual bilateral exercise in Japan that strengthens the command, control, and multi-domain maneuver capabilities of U.S. Marines in III Marine Expeditionary Force and Japan Self-Defense Force personnel, with a focus on controlling and defending key maritime terrain.
