JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM (Sept. 24, 2025) Rear Adm. Brad Collins, commander, Navy Region Hawaii, greets U.S. Rep. Ed Case, who represents Hawaii's First Congressional District, on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Sept. 24, 2025. The purpose of the meeting was to establish a direct line of communication between region’s commander and the congressional district and for Collins to share the Navy’s mission priorities and his impressions of Hawaii since assuming command of Navy Region Hawaii in August. Navy Region Hawaii is the regional coordinator for all shore-based Navy personnel and shore activities in Hawaii, and its mission is to support the readiness of the fleet and warfighters.
