A view of Moon Trees growing at the J.W. Toumey Nursery on the Ottawa National Forest captured on August 01, 2024, in Watersmeet, Michigan. More than a half-century ago, NASA astronaut Stuart Roosa, the command module pilot for the Apollo 14 mission and a former U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service smokejumper, carried tree seeds into lunar orbit.
