YOKOSUKA, Japan (September 25, 2025) – CAPT Jonathan Hopkins and CDR Patrick Gutierrez salute while trumpeters play Taps at the annual Bells Across America Ceremony onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY). The ceremony, hosted by CFAY FFSC Navy Gold Star Program, pays tribute to the military members who died in service to our nation and recognizes the families who lost their loved ones. For more than 80 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
