U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Jeremy Smith, the Indo-Pacific deputy director with the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency, and Hon. Belden Namah, the minister for tourism, arts and culture, sign transfer papers during a repatriation ceremony Sept. 24, 2025, in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. The ceremony marked the official transfer of possible remains discovered during the most recent recovery mission in the country.
