Senior Airman Mark Huffer, left, and Master Sgt. Marcus Hill of the 474th Expeditionary Civil Engineering Squadron conduct a routine preventative maintenance inspection on a field environmental control unit at Camp Justice on U.S. Naval Station Guantanamo Bay. This heating/cooling system is provided for every tent in Camp Justice. The 2 hour long inspection includes checking refrigerant pressure readings, voltage and amperage readings, examining all filters and tightening all bolts and screws as well as other maintenance actions. JTF Guantanamo conducts safe and humane care and custody of detained enemy combatants. The JTF conducts interrogation operations to collect strategic intelligence in support of the Global War on Terror and supports law enforcement and war crimes investigations. JTF Guantanamo is committed to the safety and security of American service members and civilians working inside its detention facilities.
